The debris is largely gone; the studs are starting to go up.
The upstairs sure is big without walls. It's about 45 feet deep, and 14 feet wide.
Not much left of the bathroom now.
The attic, without the ceiling in place. The front is higher than the back, for drainage purposes. We will be getting the roof stripped and retarred. Why? Look at all the evidence of past water damage:
The roof boards are still strong, but a re-roofing will add years of life. Yep, all the roof is, is the boards you see there, covered with a base and tar.
Here's the former location of the tiny hall closet. I actually found some of this wallpaper downstairs. Differing tastes in wallpaper notwithstanding, I sure would like to sneak back to 1920 for an hour or two and see the house when it was new.
Stairway opening, railless. Those are beams from the skylight. This entire area will be open.
Studs are going in. This will be the master bedroom closet.

Framing for a new linen closet. There will be three upstairs, actually.

Things must be going along uneventfully this week: I've not heard from Dale yet, other than about the first construction draw. I need to get going on ordering the transoms for the upstairs doors.
